Update on the recall of Philips CPAP/BiPAP
According to the latest information released by Philips on the official website in November 2021, Philips updated the guidance in its June 14, 2021 U.S. recall notifications to align them with FDA’s recommendations in connection with these recalls. They have not yet provided all the information needed for the FDA to evaluate the plan to repair and replace products across all the Philips Respironics’ recalled devices. Therefore the recall is still pending.
In order to enable you to continue using the CPAP/BiPAP, AMED will follow up with Philips on the arrangement of the parts replacement, and we provide a special trade-in program for designated customers. From now until 31st January, 2022, with Philips’ recalled models, designated customers can enjoy a 30% discount for the following models:
